This was my fourth visit to the Red Spade and first time seeing Derek Ostovani. His show was fantastic! I hesitantly went with two very analytical types and watched them both fully engaged, laughing throughout, and slack-jawed with wonder. Derek's ability to play off his audience and use his incredible quick wit was phenomenal. Wonderful card and coin tricks that defied explanation. The theater holds about 30, so all seats are "up close" and it's easy to see. The Red Spade Theater is a San Diego gem we need to appreciate more! Thank you Sebastian for making fun evenings possible.

If you want unbelievable magic and laughter he is the guy!!!! Very good magician with what seemed like a never ending supply of tricks. I went on a date with my fiance to one of his performances and we were both extremely impressed!!

I hired Mr. Ostovani for our corporate function and he was nothing shy of amazing! He had the ability to work small groups and leave them astonished then jump on stage and wow the group with a full hypnosis show! His combination of wit , and personality was a perfect fit! Derek Ostovani, the Magic Man, is an amazing magician. I first saw him at a party doing strolling magic and immediately knew I had to have him for my own party the following month. Having him there made the party an absolute success. He did one trick after another non-stop for 45 minutes! He didn’t have to stay as long as he did, but he clearly enjoyed performing. He is a true performer and master of his art. He is also a very nice and personable “regular guy” who is able to mix and mingle with a crowd effortlessly. The only magic you will experience at your party by not having Derek Ostovani perform is that your crowd will disappear.
